    Thomas Eastick leaves England to travel to the new colony of South Australia onboard the "Omega" arriving Port Adelaide on the 24th August 1852.

    Occupation  Thomas Eastick moved several times after reaching Australia starting in South Australia then Victoria & finally New South Wales where he died and was buried on Bull Plain Station. Thomas's occupation was farming/agriculture.

    It is reported in the "Argus" newspaper that a 13 year old girl was assaulted by two 18 year old youths staying at "Eastick Farms" & that police were involved & charges laid against the boys.

    In the "Argus" newspaper of 26th Nov 1895 it was reported that a fire had broken out at "Eastick Farms" at Jung Jung at 10.30pm. It is reported that it was Mrs Eastick who aroused the family & that two young children were almost lost to the fire. The Argus continues on to say that the house was totally destroyed in the fire & that there was no insurance cover for Thomas eastick (Snr).
